Ethical executives manifest a commitment to justice, the equal treatment of individuals, tolerance for and acceptance of diversity. Fairness requires that an individual, company, or society correct mistakes, promptly and voluntarily.5. CARINGCaring is the heart of ethics. It is scarcely possib le to be truly ethical and not genuinely concerned with the welfare others. That is be obtain ethics is ultimately about our responsibilities toward other people. Sometimes we must hurt those we care for and some decisions, while quite ethical, do cause pain. Many ethical disasters have started out as small problems that mushroomed. Especially in service busin esses, where the products are delivered by individuals to other individuals, personal responsibility is a critical issue.
